May 14th, 2025 Quarterly Training Meeting

This training is for stakes in the Omaha Nebraska Coordinating Council and those connected to disaster response, including stake disaster response specialists, communication directors and JustServe specialists.

We discussed the purpose and cadence of this meeting going forward on a quarterly basis.

Homework for the August 13th meeting:

-Review the provided stake template plan (Lincoln Stake Plan) and consider ways to adapt to your own stake.

-contact your county emergency managers and let them know you are willing to help with manpower in an emergency. (Ideally, set up a meeting with them and your stake president and let him share what we can do.)

In future meetings, we'll be giving you more ways to help your county emergency managers as you stay in touch with them every 6 months to 1 year.
